Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of Wazear, a local desktop application for AI agent orchestration developed and distributed by the Wazear team. By purchasing or using Wazear, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Product Description
Wazear is a local desktop application currently available for Linux (versions for macOS and Windows are currently in testing — for more information, use the contact form). It orchestrates AI agents in a structured pipeline on your machine. Wazear does not operate a server, does not collect user data, and does not transmit any information to the Wazear team.
Wazear uses Qwen Code as its underlying AI engine by default. Users may alternatively configure their own API keys for OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenRouter. All AI inference is performed by those third-party providers under their own terms of service, not by Wazear.
2. License Grant
Upon completing your purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the purchased version of Wazear on your own machines for personal or commercial purposes. This license does not permit resale, sublicensing, redistribution, or rental of Wazear to third parties.
3. Versioning and Updates
Wazear uses major version numbering (e.g., v1, v2). Your purchase grants you access to all minor and patch updates within the major version you purchased at no additional cost. Major version upgrades are separate purchases.
As a special condition applicable to v1 purchasers: buyers of v1 will receive access to v2 at no additional charge. This commitment is specific to the v1-to-v2 transition and does not extend to subsequent major versions unless explicitly stated.
The introductory price of $99 applies to v1. Pricing for future major versions may differ.
4. Purchase and Payment
All purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ('Paddle'), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all Wazear transactions. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable tax collection on behalf of Wazear. Your payment contract is with Paddle, not directly with Wazear.
By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at paddle.com.
5. Refunds
Wazear offers a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your order completion date. Requests submitted after 14 days will not be eligible unless required by applicable law.
Because Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all Wazear transactions, refund requests are processed by Paddle on our behalf. To request a refund, contact Paddle's support at paddle.net.
Important notice regarding digital downloads: Wazear is a downloadable digital product. By initiating the download or license delivery, you acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal under EU or UK consumer law may be lost once the download or transmission has begun. Your 14-day money-back guarantee applies regardless of this, subject to the conditions above.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Third-Party AI Providers
Wazear coordinates AI agents using third-party AI services. When you use Wazear, any content you submit through the pipeline — including project briefs, code, and instructions — is transmitted to and processed by the AI provider you have configured (Qwen, OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenRouter). Wazear does not intercept, store, or have access to this content.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of service and acceptable use policies of whichever AI provider you use. Wazear makes no representations regarding those providers' practices and is not liable for their actions or service availability.
7. System Requirements and Dependencies
Wazear requires Node.js to be installed on your system, as Qwen Code depends on it. Installation instructions are provided in the application on first launch and in the documentation. Wazear is not responsible for issues arising from incompatible system configurations or third-party dependency failures.
8. Acceptable Use
You may use Wazear for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You may not use Wazear to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Facilitate harm to individuals or groups
- Circumvent or attempt to reverse-engineer Wazear's licensing mechanisms
9. Intellectual Property
Wazear, its interface, pipeline architecture, and associated documentation are the intellectual property of the Wazear team. Your purchase grants you a usage license, not ownership of the software or its underlying technology. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Content you create using Wazear — including code, plans, and outputs generated through the pipeline — belongs to you, subject to the terms of the AI provider that processed it.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Wazear is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Wazear team disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Wazear will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce any specific result.
AI-generated output is probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all output before use.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Wazear team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Wazear, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall the Wazear team's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for Wazear.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Egypt.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that mandates local consumer protection laws, those protections are not affected by this clause.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Wazear website or release notes. Continued use of Wazear after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
